GEORGE M. EASON
SECRETARY/TREASURER OF
THE MID-ATLANTIC SHRINE ASSOCIATION
George M. Eason was born on February 25, 1935, in Edenton, North Carolina. He was active duty U.S. Army Private to Warrant Officer W2 and Honorable Discharge, 1964.
He married his wife, Jessie, in May 7, 1955. They have a son, Merrill, daughters, Tammy and Pamela, grandchildren (1 girl, 3 boys), and great-grandchildren (2 boys).
George graduated from Gatesville High School, Gatesville, N.C. He attended undergraduate school at U.S. Army Education Center, University of Maryland and received a B.A. in 1960.
George was employed with Farm Fresh Supermarkets and was Director of Operations. After his 27 years of employment he retired in 1992. Currently he is employed with W.H.H. Trice & Company as Director of Engineering and Maintenance since 1993. Professionally he has served as:
1. Member of National Association of Retail Grocers.
2. Member of Tidewater, VA. Food Dealers Association.
3. Past President of Virginia Food Dealers Association.
4. Member of National Association of Home Builders. Currently serving as a member of the National Board.
