Ill. Sir Terry R. Fabian served as potentate of Zembo Shrine in 2009.  He began his masonic career in Pittsburgh in 1982 when he was raised a master mason in Glenshaw Lodge No. 793.  Serving the lodge as its Worshipful Master in 1987, that year Terry was initiated into Chapter, Council and Commandery at the Stenburg York Rite Festival.

Terry had a 34+ year career with the PA Department of Environmental Resources (now the Pa Department of Environmental Protection) took him to Harrisburg as the Director of the Office of Natural Resources in February 1988.  Later that year he was created a noble of the mystic shrine at Zembo Temple where he became an active member of the Drum and Bugle Corps and later the Zembo Concert Band and the dance band known as the Nobles of Note.

After joining the Valley of Harrisburg in 1994, Terry became a dual member of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464 where he served as Worshipful Master in 2002.  He is also a member of North Hills Lodge No. 716, Allegheny Royal Arch Chapter No. 217, Harrisburg Council No. 7, Pilgrim Commandery No. 11,  Harrisburg Forest No. 43 of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, The Pennsylvania Lodge of Research, Hershey Chapter 509 of the Order of the Eastern Star and Court No. 116the Royal Order of Jesters.

Terry married Sandra Jean Grove in 1974.  She has been a faithful companion and supporter throughout his masonic and shrine travels.  They are the proud parents of Shawn, Megan and Derek who have blessed them with four granddaughters.  Both sons are masons and shriners.  Shawn served as Worshipful Master of Robert Burns Lodge No. 464 in 2007.

Retiring from his position as the Deputy Secretary for Field Operations in the PA Department of Environmental Protection in 2002 Terry took a position with Allegheny Energy in Monroeville, PA as the Director of Environmental Management.  A second retirement in 2003 gave him the opportunity to devote more time to his Zembo Shrine activities.  Although he still plays the trombone in a number of shrine and community bands, his passion is supporting Shriners Hospitals.  He and Lady Sandra are shepherds who can frequently be found in the drivers lounge at the Philadelphia Shriners Hospital.
