Ill. Arnold F. "Arnie" Brown was born March 4, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the only child of William R & Laura F. Brown. He was raised in Willow Grove, PA. And attended the public schools in Upper Moreland Township. He continued his education at Grove City College, in Grove City, PA. Arnie spent time in the United States Army Reserve reaching the rank of E-7.
Arnie was raised a Master Mason in Friendship-Williams Lodge #400 F. & A. M. in Jenkintown, PA in April 1961. Ill. Arnie joined the Alexandria (VA) Scottish Rite S. J. in 1981 and Kena Shrine in Fairfax, VA in 1982. He was a member and Captain of the Arab Patrol, also served as secretary/treasurer of the Golf Club and the Retirees Club. After serving as Potentate in 2005 he then was elected President of the Cabiri. He is presently serving as Rental Agent for the Kena Holding Corporation.
He started a 33 year career in 1962 with 3M Company. In 1963 he married his wife Dottie of 46 years. They have one son, Wayne, a Past State Master Councilor of DeMolay, who is married to Ill. Arnie's favorite daughter-in-law, Jennifer. There are three girls, Diane, Robin and Nancy all past Worthy Advisors of Rainbow for Girls. There are two grand-daughters Katie & Sami, a son-in-law Henry who is also a Past State Master Councilor.
The Browns reside in Manassas, Virginia.
